Really hope he is coming back on again, there is so much more to talk about! Tartarian history is a large hurdle for humanity because of the methods of erasure and it’s proximity to our era. Hurdling this topic is effective for narrowing the timeline and speeding things up. But also, interesting about Vthor and other individuals, kublai said he’s constantly mind-wiping and holding people back – it’s a bit toe-steppy just to enforce your own agenda. i dont want earth to be a partial part of the Galactic Fascists while they act the way they do. And we CERTAINLY don’t need to be to gain any benefit. It’s just a lose-lose situation in my view.
And BTW, i don’t feel the Khans at the time were trying to force a worldwide empire, but rather more a collective of communities who join together willingly, agreeing to find strength in unity rather than borders and high government- exactly where we are heading if we learn from the past. Though if one were to indulge greatly in history textbooks, without an adequate lens of caution, of course the Khans would look like conquers no better than the romans.
One thing i hope to get more clarity on tho – the point Bjorn brought up, the addition of the 1000 years to the calendar. The convo headed to another direction before we got kublai’s thoughts on this particular point. or maybe there was nothing more to add. But what levels of architectural achievement and tech did they accomplish in their “2nd attempt”?? And how about the 1st time before they went underground? Seems the 2 might overlap a bit, so its hard to say which buildings are from 800 years ago and which ones are from thousands of years ago. and tartaria fans point to structures all over the world, especially in the US, canada and australia, so these must be thousands of years old?? Cause the 2nd attempt seems to be only in asia. and a lot of it was destroyed rather than mud flooded.
